ABOUT ME

In Malaysia, the British High Commissioner represents the British Government in its relations with the Malaysian Government.

The High Commissioner's main tasks are to present and explain British policies to the Malaysian Government and to the broader Malaysian public, and to report and explain Malaysian policies and views to the British Government in London.

I have been in Kuala Lumpur since July 2006. Prior to Malaysia, I have served previously in Germany (twice), Korea, Turkey and Canada.

I am married to Jenny, and have three daughters, two of whom are in Kuala Lumpur.  My interests include reading, trekking in the jungle, tennis and golf. I am also a keen photographer. I do hope you can find a moment to take a look at some of my photos of Malaysia! Please also take a look HERE to find out more about the High Commissioner's Residence.
